Hanna Stamps

There has been so much going on here I haven't had time to post. I finally got my car resolved which I ended up taking like $5k less then what I paid for it so wasn't too happy there. But I am glad its done with. I sent them the title yesterday so hopefully I will have a check by next week and I can start looking for a car. In the meantime I still have the rental they authorized so glad I am not paying for that I have had it almost 3 weeks now.

Here are a couple Cards I made with Hanna Stamps I think these are so cute. The first card and the 3rd card are made with her new springtime sets. And the 2nd card is made with a birthday set she has. I can't remember the exact name of the sets but they arn't hard to find she doesn't have awhole lot of sets as of yet. All cards are colored with Copics and Pencils. I stamped multiple images of both the females as you can see to get patterned paper for her clothes. Its a bit time consuming but looks nice when it is matched with the paper. The fence i did seperately and the colored with copics and cut out. The bunnies are all part of the springtime set and there are also lambs with that set too i believe and some flowers.
I made like a dozen cards yesterday so will post more tonight. Hope everyone is having a great day. I thought we were done with snow but got a couple more inches last night. I am so ready for summer. I have absolutely had it with cold weather.

Baby Cards

Update: I finally got my rental car picked it up this morning. Haven't heard nothing yet on the damage done to my car or if its fixable I am sure that will take them a couple more weeks. Should be a no brainer but who knows.

Made these baby cards today with another diecut which was bought again at Scrapping Cottage. I bought it the same time as the deer so I couldn't make it higher and not have to pay shipping. Lol I think its my excuse to buy more maybe. Anyways the diecut is an exclusive so if you like them better get it while you can. I punched it out in 2 different colored browns. Then kind of mixed it between the 2 bears making one a girl and the other a boy. I drew in the eye's and nose even though there was a little dot I was scared I would mess it up glueing it on so coloring them in were just as easy. I used some Ranger glossy effects on the nose to make it look more real.

I used some paper I had in my stashed and sewed around the edges with my machine. I cut out the letters with Eliza Diecuts from Quickutz which I believe is retired. I bought mine off ebay though which is usually cheaper then buying brand new. Also the bear dies come with their own bows and ribbons but I used regular ribbon I thought it added more...

Easter Basket

Made this card tonight I thought it turned out cute Its a new clear set by stampendous. I colored with markers and made the basket 3d. I sewed around the edges of the card with my sewn machine and used lots of ribbon. Also on the little tag I made room so someone's name could be written on it...

Happy Birthday Deer Card

Well not much has changed on this end. I have come to the realization that you cannot make an insurance company even take your call if they don't want to. I am still trying to get a rental car so I can go to work if you can believe that. My insurance which is State Farm is not better than his insurance which is State Auto but that is only a brokerage for some other business insurance. I am starting to think they have caller ID and when they see my number they just send me to voice mail as noone even will talk to me anymore... But anyways here is a card I made today.

I started out with Kraft paper from Stampin Up. I distressed the edges using my distress ink. I used a stamp set from Impression Obsession. Funny thing is I didn't buy the set it came to me by accident when I didn't get one I ordered and they let me keep it. So when I seen this diecut I thought of that set. The deer is a revolution die for Quickutz and only available at Scrapping Cottage. It's an exclusive for being a gold member I think is the deal. I cut 2 of them in a little different shade of brown and distressed the edges of them also. I used foam tape to make them stand up higher. Gorgeous card I think for a guy's Birthday.

Always wear a seatbelt

On my way to work Saturday night less than a mile from where I work, someone decided to run a red light. I didn't see him till the last second because of a building blocking the view of that road he was coming down. He said he was driving 30 mph and I was going 45 mph which was the posted speed limit. If I wouldn't have had my seatbelt on I would have been seriously hurt, right now i just have a few pulled muscles in my back. I hit him on his drivers side. Needless to say its an ongoing battle right now even trying to get a rental car to get to work. I felt like I was in an episode of "Six feet under" the guy was a funeral director that just picked up a body. He said he was lost and wasn't looking at the light instead he was looking at road signs. The whole body in the back seat of his van freaked me out at the time.....

More Easter Cards

Here are some more easter cards I made. First one is a Penny Black stamp isn't it cute. I colored it first with my Copic markers and then made some darker marks to shade it with my pencils and gamsol. I then distressed the edges with my distress ink. Parts of it like the hands and the chicken and the flowers and butterflys are 3d which i cut out and added foam tape to them.
The top card is a stamp by Darcies which she no longer sells woodmounted stamps but I do believe you can still buy these UM. I know she was gonna team up with Art gone wild but I don't know what ever became of that. I used my copics on this one and made parts 3d. I absolutely love that stamp.
Also big news Papertrey Ink stamps is putting our their own line of paper, inks and ribbon now. This month is Spring Moss and Aqua Mist. You can't beat the quality of their cardstock its a 110 lbs and its great for coloring with markers cause its so nice and thick not flimsey. You can read more about it at Nichole's blog. Also check out the new line of stamps from different people she is having help her every month. Read all about it here Capture The Moment.

Easter Wishes

Well tonight is my last evening of work and don't know why but I actually felt like making a card. I just finished up watching a movie too with Diane Lane called Under the Tuscan Sun. It's very good its an older movie but I belong to Netflix so I've been catching up on older one's I haven't watched. This one is very cute.

On to my card. This card is made with a Great Impression stamp which I bought from HM stamps I just love this little bunny. I cute 2 layers out which I didn't color the bunny but I used pink ink Sea Shells Ink pad and distressed the edges of the bunny and cut him out. Then on the back layer i used copic markers and colored it. I then cut out my hearts with my marvy punches. I used some misc paper i had. I thought it needed something else so i stamped a plain piece of white cardstock from Paper trey with little easter eggs which I pulled from one of my Darcie sets. I colored them in with markers. I added eyelets to the edge and then some May Arts ribbon. Inside says Easter Wishes.... I will be posting this on ebay on Saturday.

Links

Everything I buy or should I say everywhere I buy from is on the links on the side of my Blog. If you ever get a chance take a look through them. Alot of cute stamp places and just great places to buy from. I would never list any place I haven't had great service.

Saturday Again

Wow where do all the days go. It's already Saturday and I have to go back to work again and on top of that where did January go? I figure I am going to do cards on my days off and only post them to Ebay on Saturdays. That way I am here for them to end and only have to mail one or two days versus every day.

This week I did make over a dozen cards as you can see by my current auctions. These two were my favorite for this week. The top card is an adorable Penny Black card which I colored with my copic markers and pencils. I added stickles for the stars to make them shiney. I also added distress ink around the edges for depth. The paper is Sweet water which i just love their paper.
Second card is also a Penny Black stamp which I did in again Copic markers and pencils on the mice. Parts of this are 3d to make it stand out. There isn't much I don't make that is 3d unless its too hard to cut out the pieces. Or watercoloring one's doing look good 3d. The paper is Chatterbox on this one i believe. I have so much paper its hard to keep it all straight. I think its safe to say I have a paper addiction. And I still buy more cause I don't want to use what I have.
