Well I thought I would post another one of my cards I made last week. This week I have just been working and have time to make none. Tomorrow I will be making my Soft Pencil card for the week and hopefully a few more. My daughter is moving out tomorrow so that might occupy some of my time and I get off my night shift in the AM and then it is grocery shopping haha... Anyways onto this gorgeous card. Image is at Squigglefly the link is on my sidebar. It is again designed by Crissy Armstrong who is also having some more stamps come out next week I so can't wait. This is colored with pencils.

Soft Pencil - Peter and His Clothes
Isn't this little guy cute. He is part of the Soft Pencil set "Peter and his clothes". I made him to go on this cute halloween card. Colored with pencils. I have been so busy lately with work and sleep that I haven't had time to do anything else. I only get one full day off now a week which sucks because it doesn't give me much time for anything. I only have Friday's off now since I get off Thursday morning and have to be back Saturday night. So today I have been busy making cards.

Soft Pencil - Little Witch
Here is my this weeks card for Soft Pencil. Isn't she too cute. I made parts of her 3d and colored her with pencils and markers. I am guessing from looking at everyone else's adorable creations that we were suppose to make a bag for the challenge which I guess I didn't read the fine print LOL. Even though cards is my limit for creativity. I keep having good intentions on trying other things but I never have. Oh and the flower and pumpkin are Quickutz's last months Thanksgiving Release I think they are so cute.... Anyways check out Soft Pencil's site for more of their Halloween digital stamps they are all adorable.

Noel Fluffles
Here is another one of my older Fluffle images which was colored with Pencils and Gamsol. Which is how I prefer to color fluffles he looks better. Added some rhinestones to give it some sparkle.
<\p> Two more nights left of work normally I would be done in the morning but now I got put on 5 days instead of 4. Makes for the night to go by faster but I am not going to like working that extra day gets rid of my card making time. But oh well what can you do huh. Hope everyone has a great evening and If you havent' checked yet Papertray had their release last night which I think I got 2 sets and then Whiff of Joy had their release of little Christmas mice.. too cute had to have them too LOL.... Upcoming release this week is Elzybells on the 17th and oh boy are the sneak peeks adorable. Halloween and Christmas. I am gonna be way broke.

Riley the Moose
Isn't he too dang cute. I made this card today. I am getting ready to post a bunch of "Buy it Now" on Ebay to pay for some stuff I bought the other night haha... I am a compulsive buyer LOL. Anyways I haven't inked up any of my Rileys in a long time so thought I better ink them up. I own all of them except for the last 2 releases but they are so gosh dang cute I always just need them hehe... My and my husband are going to see that movie "9" in the morning and then he is gonna go and pick up his preorder for Beatles Rock Band so I am sure I will be humming those songs all day long LOL... Have a great day

Mo's Eskimos
Now arn't these kids cute.... Next time I think I might make them a bit smaller as they took up the whole card. Its always hard to guess on how big to make them. I usually make mine bigger then what I would have liked but being cheap and not wasting paper I just deal with it LOL.... These were colored in markers tho i think they are so cute and the snow they are standing in is white flower soft which is beautiful in person its all sparky...

But I am only work tonight and tomorrow night and then I am off the rest of the week then I start my horrible 5 day schedule so I am hoping to get some cards done this week. Hope everyone has a great week.

Stitching on cards and a couple new cards
Sorry I haven't posted in awhile work and work and more work LOL. But anyways today I am taking my son to the State Fair so I can come home with a stomache ache I am sure haha... I get asked all the time about my stitching on my cards. Yes I stitch on every single card I think it adds something to it. I cannot stitch on fabric I have tried wasn't pretty. I use a Janome 3125 which isn't the smallest machine they sold which I tried that one too but it only lasted me about 8 months because I make alot of cards. This one so far has lasted me probably about 15 months. I can't see spending money on an expensive machine for cardstock. I can't believe it is good for the machine. I notice alot of paper dust bunnies inside when I change my bobbin out. As for thread I use Silky - yes it is expensive it's approximately $6 per roll full price. No I don't pay full price for it haha. I wait for Joann's to have a sale at either 40% or 50% off then its not too bad. It is beautiful cause it is kind of shimmery which is hard to see in pictures. As for the bobbin I always use the cheap white heavy duty thread. Almost forgot Silky thread lasts forever there is 800 yards per roll which I believe regular thread is like 250 yards? When I start to sew I line my cards up with my card stock not my machine as I believe regular sewers do. This way even if my cardstock isn't straight on my card my stiching is straight on my cardstock. I go in about .25 of an inch. I have my tension on 3 and my stiching is the middle straight stich out of 3 lenths. The smallest one I have had problems ripping the paper before as stitches are too close together. I sometimes will use the longest lenth but tension never works quite right for me. I also go through all my layers at one time. Why because it saves on tape and also because it seems to work better. 1 sheet of paper has a hard time keeping straight on the machine in my opinion which I always use 2 - 3 layers. Then after I have sewed all my layers I will tape it down to my card front with my ATG gun.... simple huh. Arn't these little characters in my cards cute. I was a cheap clear set I got at Anchor I believe they were Stampendous. They were like $7.99 for 2 kids and saying and a couple little stamps. Very adorable... Ok off to take a shower then to the fair. Hope everyone has a fabulous week. Tomorrow I am off to my parents for the day so probably won't post again till next week.
