ElzyBells Cards

Ok I finally got to take some pictures of these this morning when everyone woke up. We are in the process of doing some moving around in rooms and my lightbox is in my sons room currently so I can't take pictures when he is sleeping.

If you click on the picture you will be able to see the detail more. The first picture is all the new Elzybells stamps I got yesterday. Lots huh. The gray one's on there are her personalized stamps which are only available till the end of the month. I am definately placing another order for them. But I pretty much bought all her cat and dog stamps I believe I forgot one.
The first card is watercolored done on Fabriano paper. The stamp is called "In the Dog House" I made it 3d of course as all my cards. I embossed the edges and added stickles to make them glittery. Also its hard to see but I emboss most of my stuff in black. The paper is misc I had I believe its from the Pets DCWV stack. Next I embossed a strip of brown because I couldn't decide on what else to add to this card. I pulled out my Quickutz dog prints and used the outsides for the outside of the card. The inside pieces for the inside of the card which all my cards I almost always do the inside also. I sewed along the edges. Each diecut is embossed also.
Next card is a called "Cat Window" from Elzybells isn't it cute. Its hard to see in the picture but I actually stamped this image 4x. One time for the curtains and then the next layer is Transparency so it looks like an actual window in person. Next layer is the window frame and shelf which i cut out the windows and glued on top the transparency. Last layer is the flower pot, flower and cat. The background is made up of 2 different kinds of cardstock which you can see I sewed. The flowers and brads I believe are prima I am not positive. Inside of the card is sewn alos.
Last but not least is a stamp from Elzybells called "How'd you do?" isn't it just way too cute. I started out with Fabriano cardstock and then stamped a tree from Magnolia's which by the way is in Sweden and I order from them all the time never a problem. They have a new release coming out on Saturday I think she said. Great background type items to add to cards for scenes. Ok then I watercolored the tree and each leaf and then added stickles to some of the leaves to make them stand out. I watercolored the little puppy he is in 2 layers and then the worm which i added lacquer to the worm and to the puppies nose. The saying is one of Papertreys which I am not positive which set as mine are all kinda tossed together on pages. I used my SU flower punch and then the bee is an brad. Not sure on the ribbon just some I had laying around.
Ok I hope you enjoyed these cards if I have time will post more later.
Have a GREAT 4th of JULY!!!!

Wedding Day - Flourishes

Hope everyone is enjoying the gorgeous weather we have been having. Well at least here in Minnesota its been beautiful lately.

Tonight I made a card that I fell in love with as it was coming together. This one is a stamp from Flourishes that I bought a couple months ago. I have been moving all my clear stamps to the acrylic pages too and ran into it last night and thought I needed to ink it up.

Anyways I stamped 3 images one on Stardream paper and 2 on Papertrey white cardstock. I colored it in copics. I just noticed I didn't add any blush to her cheeks so I am gonna do that later. I pieced the white stardream image for her dress so it's shimmery. I then cut out on of the veils on the other stamped image and colored that. I outlined it in a very light blue so it looks transparent and colored her hair and then added stickles to it. Very pretty isn't it. Next I couldn't find any wedding paper in my mounds of paper so thought maybe I need to make my own in that case. I took a piece of vellum and then the Damask background also from Flourishes and stamped it with SU craft white ink and then put embossing powder over it. You got to be careful because it will burn very easy making your image look not so nice. I hate how vellum looks when taped to cardstock so I sewed it. Kinda tricky since i didn't have anything holding it down besides my hand as I was sewing it. I added a tag and some ring charms to the ribbon also for the extra something special.

Let me know what you think.... Have a great evening and I will post another card tomorrow.

Beach Scene

Today I didn't make too many cards but I did make this beautiful Beach card. I believe this stamp is by Inkandinko (sp?) I used versamark and black embossing powder on Fabriano Watercolor paper. I watercolored it. I also made the kids 3d. I embossed the edging with embossing powder. I used my cuttlebug and made little squares and those are on the background. Just love how this card turned out.

Have you ever checked out all my favorite stores they are under my links. I have tons of them there. Let me know if ever the links don't work.

Sugar Nellie Stamps

Here is another card I made with my Sugar Nellie stamps. This one is watercolored and parts are 3d. I used Fabriano Watercolor paper which I just love and then the background is from one of the new DCWV stacks. I also embossed around the edges of the scallops and sewed the card. That sewing is way too addicting.

Hope everyone is having a great day.

Another High Hopes

I had to show you this card before I called it a night. I've been busy filling out papers all day for my daughter to go to school. Almost felt like I was in school again just filling these out all day. Wow there is alot involved. Tests and applications etc etc...

Anyways this is a High Hopes stamp I have which btw they are having another new release on July 4th I heard it straight from Tina's mouth. She said it extends the last release or that they worked off it something like that so can't wait. I just placed another huge order. This stamp is sooo cute isn't it. I watercolored this and made it 3d by 3 layers. Iadded some diecuts from quickutz - bandaid. Even a little doctor charm at the bottom. Also sewed on it.

Hope everyone is having a great week and will post another card tomorrow.

Happy Hippo

Well another week has gone by and its warm outside this week. Feels good, I will definately take warm over snow any day.

Here is a card I made using a Hippo stamp from High Hopes. Parts are 3d. This was done on Fabriano Hotpressed water color paper but I colored it in copics. I love how copics color on that stuff. The ribbon was from last Christmas when SU had it. Verse is a Amuse stamp. I stitched along the outside of it. Also paper pieced the parachute with the background paper.

Friends and Family

I bought this card this past release from Papertrey Ink. I just love their stuff. They are getting quite the selection of cardstock built up in gorgeous colors. I prefer theirs over SU. Its thicker.

This card is done with their set. I made parts of it 3d. Verse also comes with that I put on the inside. Colored with Copic markers. Paper is Crate.

Tonight is my Monday Night and I go back to work which I am not looking forward to. It use to be we were slow at night but now we are supporting the UK also as they closed down their area and they don't take phone calls so we now do theirs. There is only me and one other who has only been there a couple weeks so still has a long time before he is trained in. Makes me want days off even more now LOL.... Have a great weekend.

Archiver's Exclusive Dies

Isn't this a gorgeous card. This is an Archiver's Exclusive dress that came out. I seen it and fell in love with it. I cut it out with glitter paper and added Swarvoski Rhinestones to the dress. I had some shimmery white metallic thread I used to do the edging and added some pearls and real lace. Isn't it too cute.

Archivers got 10 Exclusive dies I believe. They had a wedding cake but I didn't get that one. I also got a Palm tree which I posted last week and some curvy arrows which I got and some flowers which I didn't get. And some other summery ones. Oh also they had a Birthday penguin which I bought but haven't used yet. I just love running the 4 x 4 through my cuttlebug they cut like a breeze.

You can click on any picture I put on my blog and it makes them bigger...

Have a great evening.

Stampin Up - Teddy Bear Sets.

I love this Bear set actually I believe I made these cards from 3 sets. I took them all apart and put them on a acrylic sheet in my 8 x 11 notebook so they would all be together so not sure which is part of what set. But anyways love these sets and I believe they are all retired now.
As always I have parts 3d and colored the rest with Pencils and Gamsol. Sewed along the edges. I think they turned out cute. I am rediscovering my SU sets now that they can be sold.
Have a great weekend.
