Gold Snowflake and Angel
Ok here are 2 more I did today. First one is the Gold Snowflake - Stamp is by Impression Obsession which i have fallen in love with. Its just so Elegant. I added metallic sparkleys to the top of the snowflakes and then Gold rhinestones on other places. I embossed the background with my cuttlebug. Papers are curious metallics and gold metallic cardstock which i don't know who makes just the plain gold one. I used gold embossing powder and ribbon trim is from May Arts.
2nd on is from the SU mini - Its embossed in gold and then i used my copic markers and colored in the angel and then used glitter on the wings. I love how it turned out.
Silver Snowflake
This scan does not do this card justice. Not to mention because of the ribbon it won't scan straight LOL. Its simple - elegant and very beautiful in person. I used silver Curious Metallic cardstock and then embossed the snowflake and saying in Silver Embossing powder. I then backed it with Silver cardstock and white curious metallics cardstock. Then i added a few rhinestones and a ribbon. As I said simple but elegant and it took me all of 5 minutes.

Glittery Cards
Winter has come fast to Minnesota. Since last Saturday we have gotten like 15 - 16 inches of snow. We just got a new snowblower so we are getting plenty of use of that.
On the creative note, I have been working on Christmas Cards and also Teacher Gifts and such. Here are a couple of cards I did tonight. First card is Elzy Bells Stamps which I love. I colored with pencils and then added rhinestones to their crowns. Papers is KI Memories and is shimmery. I got it free for buying over $50 at Archivers today. I believe their is 20 different sheets in the pack. Free with purchase of $50 or more until it runs out.
Next is my Stampendous Reindeer which i just love. I added glitter to her horns and trim and ice - Around the edges is Stardust by stampendous Embossing power. Added Rhinestones for the noses and rhinestone stickers on the edges. Along with Shimmery KI Memories paper again and silver Stardream paper.....
Hope everyone is ready for Christmas not tooo long now.

Cowboy
Sorry i haven't posted at all I have been swamped with work and everyday things. I am also working furiously on Christmas presents. My son informed me he had 7 teachers he wanted me to make things for. Sigh...
Anyways i bought this stamp off ebay i just love it. She has a little girl too. But thought the boy was adorable. I used Chalk ink and then embossed in clear. Used my copic markers to color it. Made the hat and boots 3d.
The paper is Stampin Up's and then I added some cute little prima flowers which I just love.
It might be kinda slow around here but will still show you what i am working on. I probably won't be putting much on Ebay until I get my own stuff done and then it will be Valentine Cards probably for a few weeks.
Hope everyone has a wonderful week....

Back to work again
I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and wonderful shopping yesterday. Myself i never go out on Black Friday. I did that one year it was the year when Tickle Me Elmo first came out and there was actually people fighting over this toy. Grown woman, it was definately a funny sight. I am done Christmas shopping anyways I did majority of mine on Amazon and Gift Cards. Which I am excited for Christmas this year because I am done shopping. I have been known to leave things a week before Christmas and then I am so stressed out its not funny.
As you can see by ebay i haven't been very energetic lately. I figured everyone is getting ready to send out there Christmas cards so no sense in putting any Christmas ones out so i've been making my own Christmas Cards and a few Monogram sets to give away. My son also likes to give his teachers gift packs with a dozen or so cards in it. He said his teachers love them. So i have been working on those.
Here is a card i made using one of the newest sets from Papertrey. I used Colorbox Chalk in and then put glitter over it and used an embossing gun to dry it. I have problems with this ink smearing really bad. I did this on a white Curious metallics sparkly cardstock which i love. Then i did the friends on another sheet of same with Merlot Chalk in. I used the flowers and went over the paper too but you can't see it because the main piece is too big. This is a great set along with all her others... Have a great weekend.

Snowman and Angels
Thought I would share 2 cards i made with you tonight. This is my last night of work which i am so glad. I plan on making hopefully more cards on my days off.
First one is an angel isn't she gorgeous - Used Chatterbox textured paper and then I colored it in markers and took my Copic Atyou glitter pens and did the gold and red and green and yellow. I put ultrafine glitter on the wings of the angel and rhinestones for the hollys. I buy all my rhinestones at Joann's because you can get hundreds for less than the price you can buy the stick one's for at scrapbook stores. I never trust the sticky one's as that pulls off very easy. I use just a tad of quick dry glue and haven't had any fall off. I also used a Star that was in a Christmas bottle of Prima flowers i bought. And of course May Arts ribbon. Stamp is Darcies.
Next Card is my snowman card - He has ultrafine glitter on him and stamped the Happy Winter and colored it in marker and outlined it in glitter. Background i embossed with my cuttlebug and sprayed it with Tattered Angels glimmer mist - snowflake. I am still mixed about this stuff. I sprayed it 2x and i can see little shimmer but not alot. I definately need to play around with this more to see if its worth the price.
Have a great evening

Eat Cake
Well back to work tonight I go but I had to show you this card I just finished. Its actually 3 stamps from Eat Cake Graphics. Which link is on the right hand column with all my other one's. I colored it all in Pencils and used my Copic Glitter pens for the lights in the window. I penciled in the Christmas tree in one of the windows. I added just streaks of glitter since there was sooo much white. I made the kids all 3d and same thing colored them with pencils and gamsol. Card is 5 x 7 inchs. If you haven't check out this stamp company then i highly suggest taking a look. Its a gal that runs it and she only has new stamps maybe 2x a year but is highly talented. She nows has a shopping cart and has great shipping for um stamps.... Have a great Evening.

Viruses and FOOD
Well as you can see by ebay I didn't have very good days off. I went to a website for my dad yesterday morning and got a virus which disabled my computer rights. It thought i was a visitor and "It" was the admin. I didn't even have rights to shut down my computer and it renamed my internet explorer and couldn't get my task manager among a million other things. Hubby said it was a bad one. I downloaded a virus scan which didn't find it. So reformat and start from scratch. I hate that when that happens. I didn't get up and running till late last night so needless to say I didn't get much time to get anything done. I did however make a great supper which i will share with you.... every one loved it and i have one picky family when it comes to food.
Chicken Cordon Bleu
6 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
6 slices Swiss Cheese
6 slices Ham
3 TBSP Flour
1 tsp Paprika
6 TBSP Margarine
1/2 cup dry white wine (Carlifornia Chardonnay)
1 tsp Chicken Nouillon Granules
1 TBSP Cornstarch
1 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
1. Pound chicken breasts if they are to thick. Place a cheese and ham slice on each breast within 1/2 inch of the edges. Fold the edges of the chicken over the filling, and secure with toothpicks. Mix the flour and paprike in a small bowl, and coat the chicken pieces.
2. Heat the Margarine in a large skillet over medium-high heat, and cook the chicken until browned on all sides. Add the wine and bouillon, Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer 30 minutes, until chicken is now longer pink and juices run clear.
3. Remove the toothpicks, and transfer toe breasts to a warm platter. Blend the cornstarch with the cream in a small bowl, and whisk slowly into the skillet. Cook, stirring until thickened, and pour over the chicken. Serve Warm.
Its a great recipe. I doubled the sauce (Wine, Chicken Bouillon, Cornstarch and whipping cream) and put it over white rice which i made to go within. Add some buns and you are all set. This recipe is definately a keeper. Takes about an hour all together to prepare and cook.
Ok lastly i am gonna share a card i found time to make tonight. Its a set i believe by Hero arts. I bought 4 different ones today and off the top of my head i can't remember which was which but this one had like 6 stamps with it. I used 4 of them in this card. I did the birds and tree on stardream paper and colored with pencils and gamsol. I made 3 layers of 3d - then stamped the small scallop circle and inked the edges. I did the next circle which i inked also and added some daisy d textured paper and a couple layers of cardstock. Isn't it great....
Back to work tomorrow fun fun... Have a great weekend. Hopefully I make some more cards to post tomorrow.

Wine
Soon as i seen this stamp i knew i had to have it. Background has kinds of wine all over it - front is made on Kraft paper which i penciled and made the grapes 3d - I distressed the edges. I added some ribbon and a cute little grape charm. I just love how this turned out.
Speaking of wine i need to go get some tomorrow. I found a recipe for Chicken Cordon Bleu that looks to die for. I am going to make it tomorrow night. It uses Dry White Wine in it along with heavy cream. I will let you know how it turns out. I don't cook much so it will be a treat for everyone. I am a great cook i just get lazy and don't feel like it so normally its Dominos to the rescue.. Have a great evening
