A Card and Some News

First off here is another card I made from Kaban. I really enjoy these stamps they are so fun to color. They are a bit larger though as you can see since my cards are for the majority 5 1/2 inch square so this one almost takes up the whole card. Of course parts of this are 3d. I swear I have almost every color Copic there is my husband loves me and buys me them for Christmas LOL but I can never think of colors to make things when I am making cards and tend to use the same colors over and over again. As you can see I just love the pink that is on her sweater which is one of my favorites R20 and R21 and I use them all the time. I think I need to get myself some different color schemes haha... any ideas.

Ok Onto my news as of midnight tonight I am now part of the Paper Pretties DT for 6 months. How exciting is that. Heather took over Paper Pretties from the original owners and is going to be having a new Reopening in August sometime. I think you are going to love the changes. The illustrator for Sophie and Cooper is still there along with another illustrator you are going to love... here is a hint you might know her already :-) Anyways along with the great new owner and great illustrators and great new stamps she also has cheaper shipping as she is based in the US. For the US it is $4.99 for orders up to $49.99 and after that its FREE... I seriously love free shipping. My husband gives me grief all the time cause I am cheap when it comes to shipping and if it's too high I won't order. Ok and for Canada it is $7.00 for orders up to $69.99 and then after that it's also free. All other international shipping is $13.

I can't wait to show you some cards for the new stamps cause I've seen them and they are all gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous... But that is it for tonight I am going to go watch a movie I think. This is the first Saturday I haven't worked in 4 years and I am not sure what I am suppose to be doing hehe...

Happy Saturday and a Card

Happy Saturday everyone which I can finally say since I don't have to work tonight LOL. I am actually downstairs making cards today. I thought I would come up and post one as I was putting some cards on Etsy. I will be putting some more up tomorrow I think too But anyways this little cutie is from Kaban over in the UK. I love these images. I imagine it is the same artist that does the Lily of the Valley stamps. If not I would be very surprised as side by side they are very close. But these are clear stamps. I was actually surprised at how well they stamped the first time. Normally I have to play with them and find something squishy to stamp them on so I get a good impression. Not these ones. I have done 4 of them so far and perfect every stamp. I got another one I did maybe I will post later also. This one is colored in Copics. I used Stampin Bella's paper and I can't say enough good things about this paper. Works great with both markers and pencils. Normally I have different papers depending on what I am working with. Copics I normally use Papertrey and pencils I use SU. But this is the perfect paper and works better with markers then Papertrey's actually does. But it is very expensive in my opinion but I guess you get what you pay for. It is .50c a sheet. Well ok gonna go and post my cards on Etsy and then go make some more. Have a great day...

Shirley's 2 Girls July 29th TT Challenge #67

Here is my card for this weeks Twisted Thursday Challenge at Shirleys2girls blog. The challenge this week is Summer embellishment. This gorgeous little digital stamp can be found on their website and he is called "Watermelon Kid". Be sure to go to the rest of the blogs and check out their links. The DT's blogs can be found here.

Last night was my last midnight shift at work. As many of you know I do level 2 tech support for a global company so I normally support London, Paris, Poland, Russian and German users. Tech support is not a fun job and it is an hours drive working nights. On Monday I start my job as a Change Management Coordinator working days, no weekends and no holidays. I am so happy it will be a change for me though cause it is a job I haven't done before but that is ok because I am always up for a challenge. Hope everyone has a fabulous week.

Shirley's 2 Girls July 22nd TT Challenge #66

It's that time again for another challenge at Shirley's 2 girls Challenge Blog. This weeks twist is to use the color "Orange" in your project or card. My image is fabulous isn't it. It's called Wine and Cheese which can be found here. Works great for those girlfriends cards. I colored mine with both markers and pencils. I added lacquer to the grapes so they would look like real grapes. I just love that stuff. I also added some cute little grapes and cheese charms that went perfect with this card. I just know you are asking yourself where I got that fabulous paper from. Well I will tell you, that is the new digital paper that is now at Shirley's 2 Girls. What a fabulous price you get 10 sheets of digital paper for only $4.00 and you can print it out as many times as you like. I honestly thought before it was expensive to print my own paper until I actually figured it out and it was like 4x cheaper than buying it. I just have a cheap printer too that is a Canon I got off Amazon for like $80 so you don't need an expensive printer. I either use Georgia Pacific 120lb cardstock which you can get at Walmart for $5 a ream or else I use AC textured cardstock. Hope everyone is having a great week please visit the rest of the dt on my side bar to see their fabulous projects / cards also...

KLM Clown Clear Stamp

This little cutie is from KLM Designs -I did something different with this one than normally. I pieced almost the whole thing there is very little coloring. I used some left over scrap paper I had which I believe was last year's SU which is no longer available. I then took markers and colored in different places. Felt is from Papertrey and the crocheted lace is this years SU. I colored in the face. You can get this along with others as adorable as this little guy at the KLM Website.

I know some of you buy my Etsy cards this little guy will not be going on there till next Friday when I post for the week...

Blog Candy at Kellies

Kellie Winnell is offering some great blog candy on her blog... Run on over and check it out.

Christmas Snowman

Here is a simple and easy christmas card I made the other day. I believe the image is from Whimsey Doodle. The flowers are from Wild Orchid. I colored with pencils... Hope everyone is having a fabulous weekend.

KLM Echinacea Clear Set

I just fell in love with this stamp set. We have some flowers in our from yard that are like Pink sunflowers that reminded me of them so I made them pink. This is a clear stamp set which can be bought here at KLM. It also comes with a saying that says "For a Special Friend" which I forgot about putting on it till I already had it all together. Do you like my little rhinestones on there. I got a new I Rock so was playing with that today. Very cool tool but the tool is kinda cheaply made IMO. Great concept though... Hope everyone is having a fabulous week. In a couple days I will have a new card for Shirley's 2 Girls...
