Paper Pretties Wednesday Challenge PWC131

Todays Paper Pretties challenge is to use punches.This is a new image designed by Victoria Case called Love Birds. You may remember this one from her site and I posted it a few times before when I was on her DT. I have always loved this image and now it has cool little sayings also. So for the challenge my punch is the gorgeous trim from a Martha Stewart punch. I colored the image in Copics and added lacquer to the nose and flower centers and feet. The sentiment comes with the set also along with some other ones.

I only have a couple more posting for Paper Pretties along with Shirleys 2 Girls and my contract is up. It will be nice to relax again lol. I think I have 2 more weeks left after this one and then I will just be posting whatever I work on again for the weekend.

I also hit a deer on my way to work this morning I felt horrible for it. But it was either the deer or the car on either side of me. I hit it going like 55 and my airbag didn't deploy so I am thinking maybe they don't work. But I was ok I can not say that for the poor deer and my car though. Poor deer I broke it's front legs. I was freaking when I called the highway patrol and couldn't even think of what road I was on. The poor deer pulled itself up and hobbled across the road. While I was trying to point to the cop where it was at another car started watching us and hit the car in front of him who hadn't seen it stop. Needless to say the cop was busy. I did $4000 damage to my car which sucks and now my husband is going to have to drop me off before he goes to work and pick me up when he gets home so my days will be 10+ hours at work a day waiting for him :-( Anyways hope everyone else is having a good day.

Paper Pretties - Day #4 Sneak Peak - Timeless Love

Today is preview day #4! All 7 of our new releases will be available in the Paper Pretties store on Friday Dec. 10th. We will be previewing one set each day until release day. Today's preview set is called "Timeless Love"


My cards were real simple to do. I used my Timeless Love set which has several hearts and sayings / words and stamped those with plain black. I added a heart to the center and used some paper I had for the background. I think they turned out cute and simple. Come back on Wednesday for our challenge and another sneak peak card.

Today is Jennifer's Birthday. We always have a Birthday blog hop for DT members for their Birthday. For my card is also the card for your Paper Pretties Challenge I used the adorable new set from Victoria Case - Get Well Fairy. You will be able to buy this adorable set on Friday. The Challenge this week was Embossing. Which I embossed the background trim behind the Fairy. We also had to use the set "Everyday Sentiments" which I used the little circles I also used on my embossed piece in 2 different colors.

Todays Paper Pretties challenge is a sketch. Isn't it a great layout. Done by Francis aka Stamp Owl. I just love her sketches. This one I used one of the new digital images from Artish. You can find this at the Paper Pretties Boutique along with adorable other ones. I colored this in Copics. You can't really see it in the picture but added lacquer to make chocolate chips and the crayon.

Paper Pretties Wednesday Challenge PWC123

So we are here again for another Challenge. This week the challenge is to use "Black & White and another color" It's hard to use only a couple colors. For my other color I used Kraft. The rest of our DT stamps haven't arrived yet so I hope you ain't getting sick of this set. I just love it. But this is "Oh Christmas Tree" which will be available on Paper Pretties on Friday. I used little pearls for the Christmas decorations and the background piece actually has the little snowflakes from the set on it also if you can semi see them.

Paper Pretties Wednesday Challenge PWC122

Today is our Wednesday Challenge at Paper Pretties which is a sketch. This sketch was a real challenge for me cause I couldn't figure out what to do with it. I ended up using the adorable Dog set from Victoria Case which is called Dog-Gone Birthday. Just a reminder these stamps are fabulous quality I just love them they stamp perfect every time. Also don't forget that Paper Pretties is under new Management and has excellent customer service and fast reasonable shipping. Also on the Paper Pretties Blog Heather is looking for new DT Members from January - June I believe of 2011. It's hard to believe that so much time has went by already since I joined the team it feels like yesterday. I have loved every minute of it. And also we have another release coming up which previews start on the 9th which is this Saturday. My days will be on Monday the 11th and our regular challenge on Wednesday the 13th and Release Day Blog hop which is Friday the 15th. But you know me if I can I will have some extra preview cards out there.

Ok onto my card I said that I used the Dog-Gone Birthday set. I colored it with copics. Not sure if you can tell the difference but I used the brand new copic blending paper. Did I notice a difference not really but this is the only thing I have colored with it so far. Added lacquer on the eyes and cute ribbon and a cute button, I also have the hat, foot and ears 3d. And check out my 2nd picture. That adorable saying comes with the set and so does that footprint along with a few other sayings and I think a couple of doggy bones. Paper Pretties Sneak Peek and PWC #120

Today continues the Paper Pretties sneak peeks. There are a total of 10 stamps sets going to be released, including Sophie and Cooper and also some great new designs by Victoria Case. The new release stamps are all clear stamps which include more than one sentiment in each set. The stamps ink up perfect every time and I can personally vouch for how great they stamp.

Also today is our Wednesday Challenge which today the challenge is "Ribbon Mania" you need to use 3 different kinds of ribbon. Today I am using Everyday Lily for my Challenge card. I've been wanting to try these little circle cards for a long time. They are very easy. I colored my image with markers and paper pieced her pants. I used my nesties for the card.

Today I have my Paper Pretties card for this week's Paper Pretties Challenge of Glitter Dots, Pearls or Rhinestones. I just love this little Sophia image I think she is so cute. She is called Snow Angel Sophia. I colored her with copics and added Flower Soft. Background paper I got at Archiver's.
