Another Squigglefly

Hi I thought I would post another card I made last week real quick. Another Squigglefly digital image. Colored with copics. As you may have read in my previous post my Mini Schnauzer is pretty sick. We brought her to the vet yesterday they think she may have Canine Vestibular syndrome. Which they just upped her steroids she is on already for her blood problems and then told us to give her dramamine. We thought she was doing better today as she was up walking around a bit. Not sure if it was because of the dramamine or just the whole issue but her legs stiffened up and my husband thinks she had a couple seizures. We called the vet again but guess what today was her day off. My bailey is just like another kid to me and my husband brought it up that at some point we may have to make a decision to decide what is best for her. How the heck do you make a decision like that and who do you make it for. I just love her so much but don't want to see her in pain. Poor thing anyways will keep you updated. We are not giving her anymore dramamine in case that is what caused the seizures as it is the only thing different we have done as she already was taking the predisone its just a regular amount like we use to have her on in the beginning of her blood ammunities. They checked yesterday and her blood work came in fine. If you go on youtube and type in Canine Vestibular syndrome they have videos out there what dogs look like on it - it is definitely heartbreaking... Anyways have a great evening until later...

Wendy!

your card is so cute as usual. AS for your dog, i am so sorry wendy! ITs so hard when our pets hurt and have issues, they do become so much part of the family that it is like you said like making a decission for one of your children. Our great dane had gotten to the point where she was getting crippled and blinding in her eyes...couldnt control her bowels and the look on her face when she couldnt was so heart breaking...she looked like she was saying IM SO SORRY>..i just cant help it........and we had to put her down. The kids and i spent the whole day in bed crying. My heart goes out to you! I hope things look up!

Aw Wendy having a four legged sweet friend of my own I know where you are coming from. They are so near and dear to our hearts. I pray the medication will do wonders for Bailey!!! She is blessed to have such a loving mother and she knows that. If the time ever comes, as hard as it is, we would always do what's best for our sweet babies. My DH and I have been faced with the same dilema. Ollie is improving and we are so happy about that. My hugs and prayers are coming to you sweetie!!!
