Digital Stamps

For those interested in digital stamps I started a new link site on my side bar. These are a great alternative and especially if you are short on cash. They are very simple to use. Most company will send you tiffs or png files which you just open up a word document and drop them inside. I use Microsoft Word. That way you can resize them how you want.

I use my best cardstock which is Papertrey Ink or Stampin UP Whisper white and run them through my printer. You don't need an expensive printer I just have a regular Cannon Deskjet one that I paid $70 for it and works fine. Tomorrow I might try running my #140lb watercolor cardstock through and see how that works.

Then after they are printed out you can use punches or spellbinder dies to cut them out or whatever you desire. REMEMBER back them up to a CD or another drive in case your harddrive fails. I have 2 external drives that I keep pictures and stuff like this one so they are always in 2 places. So if my computer crashes they arn't lost.

Any other questions about digital stamps just ask and I will try to answer.... Have a great evening. I will have some more cards to post tomorrow. I have been working this week and haven't had time to make any.

Thanks for all the wonderful links to digital stamping sites! It inspired me to start my own site called Doodle Beans Digital Stamps at digistamping.com and I would be honored if you would include me in your sidebar listing.

I am looking for Digital crafters to join my site. Where each designer has a personal page to display and sell thier work (designers must have paypal as each page has a unique paypal button that means payments go direct to the designer and not through me). http://www.yourspecialdelivery.weebly.com

Some links are "dead" and KnK link won't let anyone look unless they've been invited to look at the blog. :(

Otherwise, thanks so much for the list of stamps. I've only recently gotten into digi stamps and from your list found a few sites that are already favorites and I haven't ordered...YeT!
