Sugar Nellies - Elisabeth Bell Snowman

Isn't this card just adorable. It was done in copics and added glitter to the snowman. Stitched the background and made parts of it 3d - I just love these little stamps. Elisabeth Bell is this artist and she did this sketch for Sugar Nellies. She is also going to be doing stamps for Whiff of Joy. I can hardly wait. The sentiment is one of Papertrey Inks. I don't remember which set it came out of as I split mine all up.

Its been warm here this week but I would rather have warm than snow so it's all good.

Hope everyone is having a great week...

Penny Black - Butterfly Bear

Isn't this little guy cute. He is one of the bears from Penny Black. He is done on Papertrey Ink White cardstock and he is done in all copics. The sky was done with the Great Impressions Cloud stencil which Dick from HMstamps got for me. The cardstock is DCWV and the 2 colored cardstocks are Paper Trey Ink also. The flowers I cut out with a punch from McGill which has 3 flowers in it. It's new. I sewed around the edges and did the inside of the card to kind of match.
Hope everyone is having a great week.

Copic Markers

I don't know if I mentioned it this week but the other day I ordered myself the Air Brush System from Copic and also the Air compressor for backgrounds, ground and sky. You can use it for so much more but it actually works with Sketch markers and originals but doesn't work with the Ciao which majority of mine are. So every now and then when I can afford it I will order a dozen markers at a time from Carpediem Store. For Sketch markers they are only $3.95 which is the cheapest I have found anywhere. Also if you want Copic help check out this blog of Marianne Walker she works for Copic. I believe she is one of the people that teaches the certification classes also. She has great advice for everyone about markers on her blog. I added her link to the side bar also in case you lose it. So that is my advice for today :-) now I need to get back to work hehe. We support the UK and other countries so I am having a few minutes downtime right now so thought I would post that tidbit.

Rubbernecker - Mouse

Isn't this stamp too cute its from Rubbernecker stamps. I just love them. I stamp and emboss them on Fabriano cardstock which I am almost out of. I need to order some soon. And then I did a couple layers. I watercolored it with Peerless watercolors. I just ordered 2 more limited collections. I just love them things. Very easy to use and they work fabulous. I almost forgot do you like the trim on this card. It has little fuzzy type spots on it. This is a new release from May Arts its great I got like 5 different colored rolls of it.
I started my work out today at Lifetime fitness. I just used the treadmill. There was too many people there this morning when I got off work. I did it 40 minutes and was funny when I got off to leave I felt like all the way to the locker room I was still on the treadmill. LOL I am going to force myself to go every day whether I am there for an hour or just to take a hot tub. I need to get in a routine. I find it to easy to say I will do it tomorrow. I am horrible like that. I also ran to JCpenneys today as they were having a huge get rid of all their summer clothes sale. I didn't buy any clothes since I want to lose some more weight but I did come home with two gorgeous pairs of shoes haha... I have so many shoes and sandals I think I could open my own store haha.
I got to leave for work in another hour and then I have tonight and tomorrow night off. I am hoping on my High Hopes will come early in the week. Oh i have to show you the little PC i have coming just to surf the net while i watch TV. I currently have a laptop from Dell its an XPS but the battery hasn't worked forever and its heavy. So i bought this baby one just for sitting on the couch and vegging.
Its called a ASUS EEE PC 900 - They are selling these cheaper than normal as they just got a new model in but it has Windows XP on it. Also there is wireless and webcam and holders for media cards. I only got the 16g one but you can get one's with smaller harddrives. I figure it is just for surfing and making pictures. It has 3 USB drives on it too I believe. Check out this link ASUS EEE PC 900. And its only like 8 inches by 9 inches big.

Papertrey Ink - Quilters Sampler

Here is a card I made last night using one of the newest sets from Papertrey Ink. It's called Quilter's Sampler and btw if you haven't tried their Basic White Cardstock it's the best. I use her white cardstock for everything I stamp on except if I am going to use Colored pencils and gamsol. Its nice and thick. Also the colored peach colored in this card is also hers called Berry Sorbet. I am going to be quiting Stampin Up as soon as Nichole gets all the colors. Colored cardstock is the only reason I stay with Stampin Up. The green in this card is the new Stampin Up In color. I believe its called Kiwi or something similiar. Anyways. I embossed with 2 different kids of papers and punched out the little squares. then I took my sewing machine and sewed lines so it looked like a quilt. The background as you can see I ran through my cuttlebug. I believe it gave it the more quilty look to it.
Inside is a saying in the same set. They also have another sentiment set that goes with this set. I have it also but haven't looked to closely at it yet. The Ribbon is also the matching ribbon to the cardstock. Each color she has she has matching ribbon and ink to go with. I own all the colors with matching inks and reinkers. I have bought all the Twill which i love and some of the ribbon. I highly recommend this company. So if you haven't had a look run over there and check it out. On the 15th of each month she has a party and she gives away an entire set on her blog.
Ok Iam being lazy today I picked up my car and made an apt for the other car to get the tires changed next week and oil. Me and my husband watched 21 today it was a good show. We also went and seen Dark Knight the other day which was also very good. Tonight I go back to work but I have a vacation day on Tuesday night so it's only a 3 day work week for me. Gotta love that. I am also expecting new High Hopes from their latest release which I keep my fingers crossed every day they will be here.
Have a great weekend and let me know what you think of the card. I read each comment I get.

Penny Black - Doggy Scooter

Thought I would post another card tonight since I am a horrible blogger when i work. This is a Penny Black stamp which I bought at HM Stamps which btw the new Christmas ones are posted on his site now I do believe for Penny Black. I spent probably over $100 yesterday in new one's and then the same today when they posted the discontinued ones. You got to love those cute little animals though.

This doggy was done on Paper Trey Ink Basic White cardstock and then I embossed it black. I made parts of it 3d - I watercolored with my Peerless Watercolors the doggy and lacquered his eyes. I did the scooter in copics. The little saying is A Muse. The cardstock is Basic Grey. And the metal hardware is Stampin Up.

Precious Moments - Christmas

I know its early for Christmas Cards but I just love this stamp. My mom if you remember found a bunch of these at a rummage sale. This was one of them. I wish I could get more but dang these things are spendy on ebay. Anyways I did this whole card in Copics. I used my blender pen with the copics to make it more soft then what copics are actually. The blender kinda dulls it. I added glitter to the snowman and the background. Made parts 3d. Background is cuttlebug and then I embossed on top of it. Snowflakes are cuttlebug also.
I joined Lifetime Fitness today was pretty cheap only $99 per family to go as much as you want. I figured I would try to go every morning when I get off work for an hour. I still want to lose like 30lbs and ain't doing a good job of it on my own LOL...
Hope everyone is having a great evening.

Sugar Nellie - New One's

Wow I have been so busy on my day off so far it's not even funny. We had an electrician come over to fix a circuit yesterday. Today I had a dentist apt for my son. Tomorrow I have a Walkthrough tour at Lifetime fitness because I plan on joining that and then I have to bring my son to his dad's. Its been nonstop action.

I made these cards between those things which are both the new Sugar Nellies. Arn't they just precious. Both of them are watercolored, which I found some new watercolors called Peerless Watercolors They are strips of papers with colors imbedded into them. They are suppose to last for years. I bought all the limited sets which are $10 each and then the regular set which I think was $15? Then there is also another set which is $39 but I haven't bought that one as of yet. They work so beautifully. I also use all Fabriano watercolor paper for my watercoloring as it works the best. It's spendy but worth every dime.
I hope to post more cards tomorrow. I plan on making some after my lifetime tour and bringing my son to his dads.

ElzyBells Personalized Stamps

Almost forgot to mention don't forget the Personalized stamps at Elzybells are only available till 7/31 and then they are no more. They are so cute. I just ordered another 2 the snail and the little girl. Adorable.... She also has other great stamps so be sure to check them out.

I know I have been just a vast of knowledge this week. Need to give my brain a rest hehe... Have a great evening.

Stampin Up - In the Garden

I spent a couple of months looking for older retired sets before the new catalog comes out. This was one of the sets. It's called In the Garden. I just love it. I used Fabriano Hot Pressed Watercolor paper but I used Copics. They seem to turn out quite well on that paper. That paper is very spendy I buy the bigger tablets as I use tons because I do alot of watercoloring. I like the color pressed for water coloring. Dick Blick Online has the best prices for it. I believe they have it something like 40% off retail. I made the mistake of going to a local Dick Blick thinking they would have the same deal but they don't only the online does.

I used my cuttlebug and did the background with vellum which I just love that technique. I have all the new cuttlebugs coming next month. Scrapyland has a great deal where you can put things on layaway there and I do this all the time with the Cuttlebug and Quickutz stuff. They give you 3 months to pay for it. Since they were preorder anyways I put all the new folders and some of the diecuts on layaway.

Not sure if anyone noticed the post I did the other day with the new Stampendous stamps but if you haven't checked them out please do. I ordered all the monkeys, fluffles and majority of the Angels. It makes me want to make Christmas cards and I haven't even started on Halloween yet. hehe....

Anyways on my day off I will probably be making some of my cute new Sugar Nellies. So stay tuned. Have a great week. Tonight is my Friday so will post hopefully tomorrow.

New Stampendous Stamps - Fluffles & Chantigo

Ok I am happier than a pig in mud.... The adorable little kitty, Fluffles and the adorable little monkey, Chantigo have come out with some more stamps. Everyone knows how I brag up Dick at HMstamps. Well his niece Katie sells Stampendous stamps at a discount which I figured out out to about 20% off or so plus actual shipping and no handling charges like most company's. And top it off she mails international. I emailed her this morning begging for more information on these little guys from CHA and she emailed me the catalog. So if you reply to this post with your email or just send me an email from the link. I will send you the catalog. Stamps can be ordered at KTStamps - I can not wait to get these little guys in my greedy little hands. Plus they have some adorable angel stamps they came out with and a cute little moose and some great new clear sets.

On another note I also received my brand new Sugar Nellies today. All 12 of them. I will be making some cards with those on my day off. I am mounting them now as I type this. They are sooo cute.

Hope everyone is having a great week so far. My work week is half done so I am happy. Not to mention all the new stamping possibilities my head is spinning hehe....

Bunny Birthday

I made this card tonight using the Birthday Bunnies set which I have been trying to find at a reasonable price for a long time. I finally found it. Isn't this just too cute.

This was done in watercolors and used my cuttlebug on parts of it. Ribbon I got as a Thank You from somewhere I ordered from not sure where and hardware is Stampin UP.

Well time for me to go to work UCK.. Have a great weekend.

Great Impressions - Friends Forever

Isn't this stamp too cute. I bought almost all the JULY SOTM from Great Impressions. Which I bought at HM Stamps. I watercolored the little animals and made their paws 3d. I also added a saying from Amuse and a cute little charm and ribbon. The glitter cardstock is from the Pets stack of DCWV.

My son is having his Bday party tonight with some little boys sleeping over. So I will definately be hiding in my scraproom LOL. Little boys get awfully noisy.
Hope everyone had a great week.

CC Designs - Swimmiing with the Fish

I had to show you another card that I made last night. I have bought all these animal stamps that CC Designs have made. But I don't use them very often. Not sure why cause they are absolutely adorable. Probably because I have thousands of stamps and I just forget I have them LOL. Well I just got her latest one's the other day so I thought I had to finally make a card with these great stamps.

Anyways onto the card. This one is from her Summertime Fun Collection. The stamps are already on a thin ezmount and come in CD cases with the index label on the front with what the stamps are. You still need to cut them out from the Ez mount though. They are too cute. This set had 3 stamps and some verses I think. This card I used my new SU In Colors for this year which is Baja Breeze and Kiwi I think were the names. Don't shoot me if I got the names wrong I am guessing without getting up and looking LOL. But it's the new green and blue. I ran my circle through the cuttlebug with the dots embossing folder and then sewed waves on it along with the background. I colored the little guy in markers oh he is also embossed so closer up he is raised. Embossed the edges for some sparkle which you gotta love. I sewed some waves on the inside also...

Thanks for looking and please leave a comment and let me know what you think. I will post another card later tonight. I am off today - I know I am a bad blogger on days I work :-(

Sarah Kay - More New Cards

Here are some more Sarah Kay cards I made this evening. Both of the cards are colored with copics and there is also piecing on both. I love using background paper on the cards when the stamped image has clothes. The top paper is the new paper coming out in the new SU catalog. Isn't it absolutely gorgeous. I just ordered all the new Sugar Nellies so hopefully will get those soon. Normally about 10 days. I can't wait they are absolutely gorgeous also.....
Have a great evening.

Sarah Kay - New

Wow my days off flew. I was busy moving my daughter downstairs and I didn't have time for anything. My daughter has more clothes than all the rest of us put together. And I thought I was a packrat that girl saves everything.

I got a bunch of new stamps on my days off that came in the mail but haven't had time to use any of them. Last night was the only night I got to make cards and then tonight it's back to work again. But I do have Tuesday off of this week so hoping to get a bunch made then. It's my sons birthday so I am going to take him out for dinner but we celebrate it normally on the weekend. He is having some friends spend the night and then we are going to take them to the skate park for a few hours.

Anyways I got all my new Sarah Kay stamps the other day from 7KidsCollegeFund. They are all so cute. They are acrylic though I wish they would have been red rubber. I need to get a different cleaner cause mine don't work real well with the acrylic stamps. But I got 9 different one's and here are 2 of them I did yesterday.

The top card was watercolored and then the pajama's I pieced with some of the background paper. I added some little pearls on her also. Isn't she too cute. The next card is done with Copic Markers. Both cards are embossed too. See that little blue flower on the 2nd card in the middle. That is a new one that should be in the SU new catalog coming out cause I got it on the preorder. I think its soo cute. I just love adding buttons to card. Which I add with Glossy Affects. I think its called. Might be spelt wrong but its from Ranger I use it all the time.

I hope everyone has a great afternoon.

Sugar Nellie Bears

I was ambitious today I only slept a couple hours so finished some cards I started working on yesterday. Not much to them they are watercolored. Added misc embellishments and sewed on them. Stamps are by Sugar Nellies.

You might not hear from me again till my day off Wednesday. Good news I have stamps coming which are postal from Dick over at HM stamps. They are the new Penny Black and some new Great Impressions so will try to make some cards with them this week.

Precious Moments

I use to collect Precious Moments when I was married to my ex husband. I have a couple 18 gallon containers but that's where they have been for last 10 years LOL. Anyways my dear mother ran across a whole bunch at a rummage sale and asked me if I would be interested. Since these are way expensive on ebay as they arn't made anymore I was all over them. So she kindly bought them for me.

This one is all done in Copics with the blender for highlighting. I found the paper in my stash no clue on who makes it. Added ribbon and a charm. I love how these images look on a card they are too cute.

Back to work tonight which I am not looking forward to. Hope everyone is having a fabulous weekend.

Yet another Elzybells

Here are a couple more Elzybells cards I made today. I love how they turned out especially the Get Well doggy one.

Doggy Get Well one i used prisma's and gamsol. I stamped 3 of the doggy stamp one being on the background paper. I sewed a piece of the background paper on the bottom. Embellishments are Cuttlebug flowers, Rhinestone brads and Get Well Soon Diecut which is bosskut but i use my cuttlebug to cut them out. Lacquer on puppy's nose to make it look wet. I decorated the inside also with the flowers.

THe Kitty in the garden card is Copics and added stickles to the flowers which I made parts 3d. Friend diecut is bosskut also. Then i embossed vellum and sewed it on and added a couple buttons.

Hope everyone had a fabulous 4th. I just made cards all day and took the dogs for a walk. Now I am bringing my son and a friend to go get some icecream... YUMMY.

ElzyBells Cards

Ok I finally got to take some pictures of these this morning when everyone woke up. We are in the process of doing some moving around in rooms and my lightbox is in my sons room currently so I can't take pictures when he is sleeping.

If you click on the picture you will be able to see the detail more. The first picture is all the new Elzybells stamps I got yesterday. Lots huh. The gray one's on there are her personalized stamps which are only available till the end of the month. I am definately placing another order for them. But I pretty much bought all her cat and dog stamps I believe I forgot one.
The first card is watercolored done on Fabriano paper. The stamp is called "In the Dog House" I made it 3d of course as all my cards. I embossed the edges and added stickles to make them glittery. Also its hard to see but I emboss most of my stuff in black. The paper is misc I had I believe its from the Pets DCWV stack. Next I embossed a strip of brown because I couldn't decide on what else to add to this card. I pulled out my Quickutz dog prints and used the outsides for the outside of the card. The inside pieces for the inside of the card which all my cards I almost always do the inside also. I sewed along the edges. Each diecut is embossed also.
Next card is a called "Cat Window" from Elzybells isn't it cute. Its hard to see in the picture but I actually stamped this image 4x. One time for the curtains and then the next layer is Transparency so it looks like an actual window in person. Next layer is the window frame and shelf which i cut out the windows and glued on top the transparency. Last layer is the flower pot, flower and cat. The background is made up of 2 different kinds of cardstock which you can see I sewed. The flowers and brads I believe are prima I am not positive. Inside of the card is sewn alos.
Last but not least is a stamp from Elzybells called "How'd you do?" isn't it just way too cute. I started out with Fabriano cardstock and then stamped a tree from Magnolia's which by the way is in Sweden and I order from them all the time never a problem. They have a new release coming out on Saturday I think she said. Great background type items to add to cards for scenes. Ok then I watercolored the tree and each leaf and then added stickles to some of the leaves to make them stand out. I watercolored the little puppy he is in 2 layers and then the worm which i added lacquer to the worm and to the puppies nose. The saying is one of Papertreys which I am not positive which set as mine are all kinda tossed together on pages. I used my SU flower punch and then the bee is an brad. Not sure on the ribbon just some I had laying around.
Ok I hope you enjoyed these cards if I have time will post more later.
Have a GREAT 4th of JULY!!!!
